A fan can grant an Honorarium to an athlete or team for content. The Honorarium is then given to the athlete or team at a given school on the Honorarium platform.

NCAA NIL Compliance

Honorarium is a professional service provider (as defined by the NCAA) offering a social platform that provides college fans with a more immersive game-time experience, by giving them the ability to interact with, honor and pay their favorite college athletes in exchange for their content on the Honorarium platform. To satisfy the NCAA's NIL Quid Pro Quo each Honorarium athlete must execute their Universal Honorarium NIL Content Provider agreement and actively engage with fans and upload content to Honorarium.

Honorarium’s Student-Athlete Guide

*Payment Payout Threshold

There is a student-athlete minimum payment payout threshold of $20.00. Each athlete will be paid monthly if their Honorarium Scoreboard reaches $20.00. If the minimum threshold has not been met, their earnings will roll over each month until the threshold is met. Once their threshold has been met, payment will be sent the following month or at the end of each calendar year.

Compensation

For each Honorarium, the “Honored” registered student-athlete receives 85% of the Honorarium, and Honorarium, Inc. receives 15%.
